Example 2 (favourite Team B): Decimal 1.50 = Fractional 1/2 = American -200. A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,500 on a win (৳500 profit).
Negative American odds (-200) mean that team is considered the favourite — you need to stake ৳200 to profit ৳100. Positive odds (+150) mean a ৳100 stake earns ৳150 profit.
Live in-play betting — odds shift over by over
Betting while a match is in progress is called live or in-play betting. Cricket has a particular advantage here: odds are recalculated after every wicket, every boundary and every completed over.
